We are currently recruiting a CEO—a key role for a strategic and dynamic leader who wants to guide Luleå Science Park into its next phase of development.
Our organization is strong, but it requires clear and hands-on leadership to keep pace with the region’s rapid growth. We are looking for someone who wants to strengthen our role as a driving force for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development.

The company is now embarking on a fresh start as of May 1, with a lean organization consisting of three employees and student interns—and clear ambitions to grow. This calls for an operational, decisive CEO who tackles issues head-on, drives the work forward, and is actively engaged in networking and relationship-building to develop the business and its partnerships.
The company is currently in an exciting phase as the region is growing rapidly, with major initiatives in areas such as digitalization and the energy transition. As CEO, you will have overall responsibility for leading and further developing Luleå Science Park as a central platform for innovation, collaboration, and growth. You will drive strategic development forward with a focus on strengthening the park’s appeal to companies, talent, and partners. The role involves a strong external focus where you build relationships, initiate collaborations, and create conditions for new ideas to flourish.
We are looking for someone with experience in leadership roles within knowledge-intensive or innovation-driven environments. You have a strategic and business-oriented approach, a strong understanding of the interplay between the private sector, academia, and the public sector, and the ability to navigate complex networks. You are a confident and communicative leader who inspires commitment, provides direction, and achieves results through others.
You are a hands-on and inspiring leader who is motivated by developing both people and organizations. With clarity and curiosity, you drive change and create a culture centered on collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities:
• Drive the strategy, development, and positioning of the organization.
• Strengthen collaboration and foster growth through networks and partnerships—both nationally and internationally.
• Represent the organization and build long-term relationships.
Profile:
• Senior leadership experience in innovation, knowledge, or growth environments.
• Strategic, business-minded, and accustomed to working in collaborative and network-driven contexts.
• Strong communication skills and a clear, relationship-building leadership style.
• Experience in change management in complex environments, preferably with international exposure.
